Our goal is to help remove financial barriers so our patients can receive the dental care they need and desire. Many patients have some type of dental insurance. In the majority of cases, we are able and pleased to assist you in maximizing your benefits. At your first visit, we will ask you for current insurance information. We may ask you to confirm this information at subsequent visits, so we can remain up-to-date and fully informed to serve you. As a courtesy to you, we file claim forms electronically, provide postage for special claims, and we track the claims when necessary.
We accept most dental insurance programs provided by the major employers in our area. For patients covered by insurance, we will accept assignment of benefits. This means you must sign the portion of your insurance that “assigns” payment to our office. Most dental insurance plans do not cover 100% of the cost of your treatment. Because of this, and the extreme delay in receiving payment from insurance companies, you will be asked to pay your deductible and your portion of charges the day services are rendered. All estimates are based on information provided to us by your insurance and are not a guarantee of payment. Only after a claim is submitted and reviewed by your insurance company can final payment be determined. If insurance payment is not received within 60 days, the balance automatically reverts to you and is due within an additional 30 days.
Other Payment Options
Non-insured patients are expected to enter into a payment plan or pay in full with cash, check, or credit card the day services are rendered. We accept most major credit cards.
We offer financing through CareCredit® for those who qualify. With CareCredit, you can finance 100% of your dental treatment and there are no upfront costs, no annual fees, and no pre-payment penalties. CareCredit offers a full range of payment plans, so you can find one that works well for you. CareCredit also allows for revolving payments with a variable interest rate and up to 12 months of 0% interest. It can be used by the whole family for ongoing treatment without having to reapply, too. If monthly payments would work better with your budget, please visit the CareCredit® website to fill out an application form today.
